Perfect FSK Series – Foil-Scrim-Kraft Facing

1. Product Overview 

Perfect P-Kraft™ (FSK) is the industry-standard insulation facing designed by laminating reflective aluminum foil onto a dimensionally stable kraft paper base. Reinforced with a high-strength fiberglass scrim network, this tri-layer laminate serves as an exceptional radiant barrier and vapor retarder for commercial and residential HVAC systems.

Aluminum Foil Reinforced Kraft (FSK) is a professional-grade insulation facing material.
It is suitable for online lamination of glasswool, rockwool. Thicker heat-sealable PE. No need applying extra adhesive. Good corrosion resistance.
The scrim can be tri-way fiberglass scrim (8*10) or two-way fiberglass scrim (10*10, 6*12, 12*12).

2. The 3-Layer Integrated Structure 

We emphasize the integrity of our lamination process, ensuring the layers function as a single, durable shield:

• Layer 1: High-Purity Aluminum Foil (Facing)

  • Reflects 95% of radiant heat, providing optimal thermal efficiency for ductwork and building insulation.

• Layer 2: Specialized Adhesive (PE or FR Glue)

  • Utilizes high-bonding agents (including Flame Retardant options) to ensure a stable, long-term bond that resists delamination from -29°C to 66°C.

• Layer 3: Reinforced Scrim & Kraft Paper (Base)

  • Combines a strong Tri-way or Two-way fiberglass scrim with 50g/m² or 60g/m² natural kraft paper to provide superior tensile strength and a robust moisture barrier.

Easy Installation: Flexible backing adapts to ducts and surfaces; compatible with standard adhesives and tapes.

Reliable Vapor Shield: With a water vapor permeability as low as 1.15 ng/N.s, it effectively prevents condensation from infiltrating the insulation core.

High Burst Strength: The reinforced scrim network provides a burst strength of up to 30N, ensuring the facing remains intact during rigorous installation.

Flame Retardant Options: Our FSK-R7160A model utilizes FR-grade kraft paper and adhesive to meet strict fire safety standards for commercial projects.

Dimensional Stability: The heavy-duty kraft paper base ensures the material remains flat and easy to handle, reducing job-site waste.
